[ Rescue! Rescue Training!]: Class 1A continue their quirk training to regain the public's trust but a masked figure hinders their progression yet again. The students must learn to work together to fight off the villains while learning to hone their quirk's abilities.
[Training of the Dead]: Class 1A returns from their internships to survival training alongside Isamu Academy which reunites old friends Tsuyu and Habuko together. The rules of the training game are simple until a conflict breaks out between students and causes a zombifying quirk to be released.
Animation: 8
Flashy
The animation quality for both episodes were smooth and remained as well - drawn as the previous artwork in season 1. Characters and their quirk ability effects were recognizable and given enough attention to show that the recaps weren't just a second thought to a larger story.
Sound: 8
Standard
Audio and OST for the anime remained just as fitting and crisp as with previous season. Quality was upkept which many fans are sure to be grateful for.
Character: 8
Loveable
The personalities of recurring characters were consistent as when we first met them (or made some clear character development). Newly introduced characters were given some attention but not necessarily as much as we know of class 1A's students. Supporting characters did well with providing further depth to protags and still had enjoyable designs to make them fun.
Enjoyment: 8
Fun
An enjoyable watch that still has some action involved. Compared to the whole first, it wasn't necessarily anything ne w or any better yet still made for something nice to watch in between waiting for season 2.
[Rescue! Rescue Training!]: Serving as a recap, I still enjoyed getting to see an extension to one of my favorite moments from season 1. It was hard not to feel amped up alongside the characters during the fight especially when the villain appeared, and it never gets boring seeing the creative ways each of the students in 1A and their quirks merge together as a team.
[Training of the Dead]: A cute short that was pretty simple in execution and story. I enjoyed getting a bit more background into Tsuyu's past and many of the funny moments throughout. Not as interesting as the main anime itself (mostly given its short length), but I still enjoyed watching it!
