best of the sequels by far. a more balanced take on the impossibly indestructible hunt and his team/allies, having hunt be not just more likely to fail, but also less cocky to start with (the scene where benji, the comic relief character, echoes the peppy, blind trust that the previous movies built, while ethan is wary is central, but not overemphasized), his team more integral - helped by the continuity, at least - and finally, finally having a female character that actually acts as an agent - and has the screen time to do it. the franchise has sure come a long way from the foul mission read more
