the first conjoring film was a masterpiece of sustained terror and horror. it was the best haunted house/possession movie to come out in many years, if ever, or at least since the exorcist from what i can recall. thus i couldn't be more excited for the sequel. when i was a kid i was obsessed with the amityville house and the opening of this film started there i was in heaven. the conjuring 2 i thought was really the amityville story. well quickly enough it moved from there to england and the story changes and the plot changes and it keeps doing so which is always a good thing. the scares come... read more

I quite liked this follow up to 2013's film "The Conjuring". The location this time is in London where Ed and Lorraine Warren travel to help out a single mother and her kids that find out there house has evil spirits. The movie directed again by James Wan supersedes the first in my opinion due to its fast paced thrills and the movie seemed genuinely scary. The two leads do a great job again portraying their real life counterparts and I like the music that is featured this time around. Worth watching read more

I want to go read up on the true events these movies are based on now. Was kinda dreading watching this franchise, but so far, bases on the first 2 Conjuring movies, it's pretty good. Ed and Lorraine look like Chris Evans and Elizabeth Olsen. read more

I was pretty impressed by how scary this film was, much scarier than it's predecessor. So scary that I have been turning all the lights on in my house just to go to the toilet.. I personally thought everything about it was great, no faults. Well, other than the fact that a lot of it was sensationalized and incorrect compared to the real story, but other than that it was a great movie. read more
