i was so happy to see this on netflix. it's years since i saw it, and then i was a big time stoner and really have very little recollection of it all. as a 46 year old, i found so much to love in this movie. first of all, the cinematography. new york, the the film grain, the feel, the atmosphere. it's a thing of great beauty. the neon lights, the rain, the scum on the streets, the noise... all captured perfectly. and travis, dear fucked up travis. i can relate to you so well in so many ways. the loneliness that pervades and is in every part of life, the sadness. one of my favourite scenes is... read more
