a much better sequel that delivers more action and even better editing and sound design over the first movie. probably some of the best car action sequences and shots from this time. read more

A less interesting film than its predecessor, probably because it's been nicked from so much. The full neon-fuel dystopia isn't anywhere near as engaging as the strange functioning society from the first film, and the man with no name style plotting is cute but strips the film of character work. But the set pieces are great and the little character moments the film does have are all super effective. It is a Good Movie that I enjoy. read more

52 years 52 weeks 52 thrillers 1981 watched on itunes. now this is a fucking sequel. an improvement of just about every way over the original movie. better directing, better cinematography, better production values, better action, etc etc etc. unlike the first movie, this movie doesn't really have a dull moment, all killer! recommended! read more

As good as I remember. A live action cartoon, the best in the series. Enjoyable 80s nostalgia. Mel Gibson is great but the pilot steals every scene he's in. Lord Humongous had the hockey mask before Jason! read more
